Abstract: The digital material representation (DMR) model is developed on the basis of image of dual phase microstructure prior deformation and then attached to the macro scale finite element model of investigated channel die compression. The problem of DMR representativeness is addressed within the work. Series of numerical simulations with varying DMR size and phase fractions is investigated in this case to evaluate the minimum size of the model that can provide representative response for the investigated material.
