Abstract: Pure copper has excellent plasticity, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity, and is used in a large number of wires, brushes, cooling tubes, etc., but the pure copper surface does not have good wear resistance. In order to improve the wear resistance of pure copper surface and prevent the hot hydrogen embrittlement of pure copper, the manufacturing process of coating on pure copper surface has been used for pure copper surface treatment. The four hot copper surface coating technologies of hot dip coating technology, thermal spraying technology, electroplating technology and laser cladding technology are summarized. The characteristics and research status of various technologies are reviewed, and the research directions of various technologies in the future are proposed.
