Description
Abstract: In work methods of reception of protective corrosion-resistant coatings on steels in a mode of thermal self-ignition of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis for application in the automobile industry are considered. The results of investigations of the structure and properties of coatings obtained with different treatment methods (simultaneous and sequential) are shown. The optimal compositions of SHS mixtures were developed for the application of corrosion-resistant coatings on car parts in conditions of self-propagating hightemperature synthesis. The analysis of significant parameters affecting the structure and performance properties of coatings obtained with different processing methods is presented. According to the test results, it was revealed that titanium-chrome plated coatings have the best indices of corrosion resistance, increasing the service life of the products by 1,5-1,7 times.
